Sorry for the delay , here is the detailed solution :

    Question 1 -

Here are the various possible arrangements :

    1. From all the possible arrangements we can't logically deduce , that all moons are stars . - So this is not a valid conclusion.

    2. Arrangement 2 shows that Some universe is star so - We can't conclude - No Universe is star

    3. From all the 3 possible arrangements we can see that some Planets are stars - So this is a valid conclusion.

    4. From all the possible arrangements we can see that No element of Moon is Star - So this is a valid conclusion.

    Question 2 -

    1. From the given arrangement we can logically conclude that - Some elements of Amphibians are plants.

2.We can logically conclude that all elements of sticks are part of the greater set called insects - So this is a valid conclusion.

    3. From the arrangement we can never conclude that all elements of Amphibians are sticks. - However the reverse " All sticks are amphibians is true "

    4. This conclusion is logically valid because - All elements of Plants belong to the greater set called amphibians.

    Question 3 -

    1. From the given arrangements we see that arrangement 3 violates this condition.

    2. Some cottages are appartments is a possible conclusion - From arrangement

3.So 1 and 2 are self contardictory and means the same thing , so the answer will be either of them. ( But answer differs with Pratijogita kiran - If someone has a logic , please rectify me )

    4. Arrangement 3 shows some appartment are cottages - So this arguement is not valid . . ( But answer differs with Pratijogita kiran - If someone has a logic , please rectify me )

    5. From the given arrangements we can see that nowhere we can deduce - some buildings are appartments - So this conclusion is not valid.. ( But answer differs with Pratijogita kiran - If someone has a logic , please rectify me )

    6. From arrangement 3 we can deduce - Some cottages are appartments , so this arguement is ture . ( But answer differs with Pratijogita kiran - If someone has a logic , please rectify me )

    7. Again from Arrangement 3 we can find some cottages are huts - So this arguement is not valid. . ( But answer differs with Pratijogita kiran - If someone has a logic , please rectify me )

If U find I missed somewhere plz let me know I will edit my post !

It happens sometimes - However go thru the concepts !!

Even I find a number of Questions having wrong answers and even after pondering for hours / nights over the same problem , I really can't get a logical conclusion.

I am sure others who have some interesting point in this regard - With contradictory views will enhance the discussion further... Very Happy

I think the first statement mentions - All women are intelligent , so Women is a subset of the greater set called Intelligent.

Again - from the second statement we can say Sita is an element of the larger set called Women..

However it would be great - If we have more opinion and discussion in this regard !

Dude the Ans is correct. The Conclusion DOES NOT follow.

    1) All women are intelligent.
    2) Sita is a woman.
Conc: Sita is an intelligent woman.
Here woman is the MIDDLE TERM
THE CONCLUSION DOES NOT CONTAIN THE MIDDLE TERM. (Refer R S Aggarwal - Verbal n non-verbal reasoning, Logical Deduction, Topic 1- Logic)

    Correct Conclusion: Sita is intelligent.
